Space PlanetsSpace-Planets is an open source online real time strategy and simulation game project founded by Philip Bawn. Players register a planet of their choosing with the OPR, or Official Planet Registry. As the governor of a planet you may order buildings to be built, determine planetary tax rates for credits, and participate in sector politics. Owners of planets are encouraged to play roles with eachother. You may lead your forces to victory in glorius attacks on other planets, or humiliating defeat. Managing an AccountOnce players log in to their space planets account, they are presented with a rudimentary screen that looks like this: On the left is a list of planets attached to the account. Clicking one of these will change the list at the left to a list of cities that have been built on that planet, and the main area will be populated with statistics about the planet in question:
How to login to PlanetSpace planets has been in development for awhile and has not quite come to fruition. With our recent move to a new website the game may now have some hope for becoming an enjoyable and fun game to play. With the latest version of Space Planets, players will be able to own multiple planets, many cities on those planets, and control individual buildings within those cities. This is the initial screen visitors get when browsing to the folder that the game is installed to.
